~ WW2 Nazi German Firemans Dress Dagger By Carl Eickhorn ~
This is a superb example of a German Firemans’ Dress Dagger made by Carl Eickhorn of Solingen, with a brass handle, crosspiece and black diamond grip.
The dagger comes with its original scabbard, and frog.
*Dimensions*
The blade is 25 cm (9 ¾ inches) long. The dagger in its scabbard has a length of 40 cm (16 inches).
The item weighs 550 grams.
~ Condition ~
The scabbard is in very good original condition with a small amount of surface rust and pitting to the obverse.
The frog looks great with an acceptable amount of colour loss to front edge and only minor creasing at rear.
The blade has some no damage or rust.
The cross guard and metalwork show pitting commensurate with age.
The grips are in perfect condition.
