Create my profile now!These bayonets were issued to Airship Battalions (Deutsche Luftstreitkräfte) in 1910, utilising blades from ‘M71/84’ bayonets. This example carries the trademark of ‘Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. Solingen’. There are feint unit markings to the cross guard and two Imperial inspection Marks to the pommel. A scarce bayonet in good condition with correct steel mounted black leather scabbard with unit markings of ’45. R.E.3.53.’ to the rear of the top mount.
