Here is a lovely rare piece. A .36 percussion Savage Navy, a very unique and famous revolver for being somewhere in-between single and double action. Using your middle finger you cock the weapon and rotate the cylinder by pulling the ring lever, and fire with the trigger. The action on this amazing example is incredibly strong, and the weapon's operation feels unused. The mechanism works flawlessly and the revolver is in incredible condition for its age, with only light patina and remaining signs of the original bluing. The top of the barrel is marked with "Savage R.F.A Co. Middletown CI, H S North Patented June 17 1856, January 18 1859, May 15 1860".
