A high quality and extremely long European flintlock pistol with a 12.5 inch barrel Circa 1810. The barrel marked on top with Haadmshodt and fitted with a decorative brass band at the end of the barrel. Brass trigger guard, ramrod pipes, butt cap and a very decorative side plate. Chisseled decoration to the stock. Decorative brass escutcheon to the grip. Wooden ram rod. Overall length 20 inches. Action in working order. In good overall condition. A good example of the type of a high quality flintlock pistol carried by an officer and occasionally pirates in the 18th- 19th centuries.
