Create my profile now!INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an original German 1939 dated No 25 (EI A.Z 25) bomb fuse, safety cap and is complete with its original bakelite transit container. This fuse is an electrical impact fuse. The fuse is of alloy construction with a steel screws locating pin on the side. The fuse has two insulated plungers at the top with a screw between them. There are three steel slotted head assembly screws holding the top on and a steel location pin at the side to orient it with the bomb casing. The body has blackened finish and the base is screwed for the gain. The fuse is stamped at the top EI AZ 25 (within a circle) Rh.s 1939 (1939 date) 7c Wafenampt 55. The top of the insulator cap is stamped t over II. This fuse was fitted to high explosive and 50 & 250 kg phosphorus bombs. See page 201, German Air Dropped Weapons to 1945 by Wolfgang Fleischer.
