Description

INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an unfired British Vickers Naval 2Pr Mk1 (40 x 158R) Pom Pom high explosive time fused anti-aircraft round for the Vickers 2pr anti-aircraft gun fitted to British naval ships during WW1. The brass cartridge case is headstamped 2Pdr Mk. 1 V.S.M (Vickers Son and Maxim) CK (Cordite Full Charge) crowfoot over N2 1914 . The primer is stamped No5 Mk1A 6/15 (June 1915) V.S.M (Vickers Son and Maxim) A and a crowfoot .The unfired steel copper driving banded projectile is stamped I 2Pr F.S. (Forged Steel) 2.15 (February 1915), together with various other inspection stamps to the rear. The brass No 121 time fuse is an early version with one time ring and is graduated from 0 to 10.
