Create my profile now!INERT DEACTIVATED. This is an unfired 1942 dated WW2 German Kriegsmarine 20mm High Explosive/Tracer (HE/T) round for the German 2cm Flak 30 and 38 anti-aircraft guns. Although these guns were originally used as anti-aircraft guns, they could be used to great effect in close support ground fire. The round has a brown lacquered steel percussion primed cartridge case. The round is headstamped asr (HAK Hanseatisches-Kettenwerk GmbH, Hamburg-Langenhorn) x 42 (1942 date) 4e. The projectile retains all of its original light green painted finish with a 6mm red band above the iron driving band signifying a high explosive tracer round. The round is stamped round its circumference above the iron driving band ean (Lippstaedter Eisen- u. Metallwerke, Lippstadt) 17c 42 (1942 date). The round is also stencilled in red round its circumference eda 19k 42 (1942 date) waa761 Br 120gr 8g. the projectile is fitted with an alloy 2cm KpfZ45 nose impact fuse. The fuze is stamped round its circumference 2cm KpfZ45 asr (HAK Hanseatisches-Kettenwerk GmbH, Hamburg-Langenhorn) 42 (1942 date) and a Kriegsmarine waffenampt.
