Early 1800’s English Form .700 Calbre Flintlock Converted To Percussion Traveling / Holster Pistol . Sn 19684 - 19684

This is a Flintlock Traveling / Holster Pistol nipple & drum converted to percussion. It measures 15 ½” overall with a 9" two stage steel barrel and one piece full wood stock. The smooth bore is clean. The barrel has black powder proofs. The pistol has brass fittings including cudgel butt. The trigger guard with extended tang has foliate engraved decoration. The action and Dolphin hammer have foliate engraved decoration. There are no visible maker or date marks on the pistol. It is complete with wood ram rod which has a brass end cap. It's cocking & firing action works crisply. The price includes UK delivery. NB As an antique percussion pistol no licence is required to own this item in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display. Sn 19684
