DEACTIVATED INERT. This is a WW1 French 37mm (37 x 94R) Pom Pom HE (High Explosive) Bouncing mine shell round. The brass cartridge case is headstamped 37-85 1 PDPs (Parc ‘dArtillery de Paris) 16.6.14 (June 1914 date) . The elongated nose fused steel projectile has two copper driving bands and is fitted with a brass and steel nose fuse with a left hand screw head. The steel Robin modele 1916 nose fuse is stamped 14 over 2810 and has a small brass screw to the top of the fuse. the side of the projectile is stamped 2810 GA 14-17. There are two tightening lugs machined into the steel nose fuse. No licence is required to possess this round in the UK if retained as part of a collection or display. The price includes UK delivery.
