1917 manufactured G98 at the Danzig factory adapted in WW2 to a G98b. These guns were utilized at the start of the War and the main adaptation was the replacing of the rear roller coaster sight of the G98 with the flat K98 sight. This gun actually has two heer or Army stamps in the stock, so would have been issued to the Wehrmacht.
