This rare, experimental steel barrel is a factory made instructional tool / demonstration piece. The barrel measures 30” overall length. The sectioned barrel displays the barrel’s rifling and is mounted with a 1940 head stamped .303 calibre round at the breech end. The barrel is crisply marked with proof marks, model, maker and calibre designations (all illustrated). The barrel is in excellent, clean, undamaged condition.
