The Albini-Braendlin action system was designed by Italian army officer Augusto Albini in about 1866 and improved with the assistance of the Birmingham engineer-gunsmith Francis Augustus Braendlin. The polished triangular blade is fullered on all three sides and has a barrel socket that has a zig-zag slot and locking ring. It is blued and stamped 3710 S along with inspection marks. Measuring 21” overall, the metalwork is good with age related staining *see images*. See page 35 of White & Watts No 80 for reference. The price includes UK delivery. BAYO 455.
